The UGC network has recently been strengthened with the opening of 6 new cinemas in 2021 and 2022: UGC Plaisir (9 screens), UGC Ciné Cité Bassins à flot in Bordeaux (13 screens), UGC Montaudran in Toulouse (7 screens), UGC Ciné Cité Part-Dieu in Lyon (18 screens), UGC Ciné Cité Maillot in Paris (12 screens) and UGC Issy-les-Moulineaux (7 screens). At the same time, UGC is a major player in film and audiovisual creation. Like the films shown in its cinemas, UGC produces and/or distributes a wide variety of films, ranging from successful popular comedies such as the 'What Did You Do To God?' saga or the 'Ducobu' series, to major auteur films such as those by Leos Carax 'Annette', Todd Haynes 'Carol', Jean-Marc Vallée 'Dallas Buyers Club', Bruno Podalydès 'Adieu Berthe, l’enterrement de mémé', 'Les Deux Alfred', Jacques Audiard 'A Prophet', 'Dheepan', 'Rust and Bone' or Florian Zeller 'The Father'. The series production activity, launched in recent years, brings together five companies in France and one in the UK. It produces series for all market broadcasters, including TF1: 'Prometheus' and 'HPI', France 2: 'I Lied', Netflix: 'Christmas Flow', 'The Revolution', Disney+: 'Oussekine', Amazon: 'Ten Percent', the English remake of 'Call My Agent!'. In 2022, the UGC group is the 4th largest fiction producer in terms of hours broadcast in France.
