About TUXEDO Computers GmbH

The roots of TUXEDO Computers GmbH date back to the founding of the Linux online shop by Herbert Feiler in 2004. Since then, TUXEDO has established itself in the market as the brand for individual and high-quality notebooks and computers with Windows and especially Linux support. The company is based in Königsbrunn near Augsburg. The name TUXEDO Computers combines both the demands and the product spectrum: TUXEDO, which means tailored suit in English. It also contains the name of the Linux mascot Tux! A TUXEDO computer is therefore not only a Linux PC in a tailored suit due to its hardware configuration, but it is also immediately recognizable as such by its name! TUXEDO Computers does not offer its customers standard Linux PCs, but systems specifically tailored to the customer. These are individually built computers/PCs and notebooks that are fully compatible with Linux and also Windows. But there is more behind it: Assembly and installation are done in-house with self-programmed drivers, scripts, and add-ons. The individual support also has its own repositories. Buyers also receive exclusive access to the myTUXEDO cloud, which uses German, encrypted servers - data protection and security are always paramount at myTUXEDO.
