About Tryon Distributing, LLC

Tryon Distributing was formed in 1985 by two men with an idea. The idea was to create a company which would distribute high quality wines to a select group of customers in the Charlotte area. From that humble beginning, distributing in only three counties, Tryon Distributing Company has grown to be North Carolina’s premier wholesale distributor of fine domestic and import wines and high quality beers from around the nation and the world. Headquartered in Charlotte, NC, Tryon Distributing now services the entire state from an 92,000 square foot air conditioned distribution center. Most customers enjoy next day delivery on the company owned fleet of temperature controlled trucks. Tryon Distributing employs professionals who are committed to delivering premium quality alcoholic beverages to a growing customer base. Tryon’s big expansion occurred throughout 2002 and 2003 when Tryon purchased four other distributors. Today, Tryon Distributing, headquartered in Charlotte, employs almost 300 employees who work across the entire state of North Carolina.
