Tricentris, la Coop

About Tricentris, la Coop

Serving 228 member or client municipalities, Tricentris is the largest sorting organization in Quebec. In 2018, we received, sorted, and marketed some 212,342 metric tons of recyclable materials collected from 2 million citizens in the Laurentians, Outaouais, Montérégie, Lanaudière, and Abitibi-Témiscamingue. The blue bin content of one in four Quebec households is therefore sent to and processed in our sorting centers. Since its creation, Tricentris has proudly and determinedly fulfilled its mission: to offer its members the best service at the best possible cost, to become a true tool for regional development, and to act in accordance with the foundations of sustainable development and defend its principles. Tricentris thus contributes to the environmental, social, and economic aspects of regional evolution, but also strengthens its position as a key player in waste management in Quebec by offering a new approach to the valorization of recycled glass with its micronization plant.
