TRANSLINK headquartered in Seattle is a shipping agency company registered upon the approval of Federal Maritime Commission (FMC), especially engaging in agencies of import and export declaration, warehousing and inland consignment as well as NVOCC and other related business. The head office of TRANSLINK was founded on September 2nd, 1987 by President SAM H. CHEN and remains under his leadership. For over thirty years since the establishment, TRANSLINK has successively set up multiple subsidiaries in the North America and overseas offices in Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and South-East Asia in order to meet the demand of sustaining business expansion. TRANSLINK Shipping evolved into a group service network consisting over 32 directly owned and governed offices in the world and nearly 151 agencies in 79 countries. TRANSLINK owns a proprietary computer software development company, specially for design, improvement, execution and maintenance of the group's particular management operation software; It has invested in and constructed a sophisticated internal LAN computer system, which accomplishes the transnational all weather connection in cooperation with INTERNET and accordingly ensures the timely and expedited information exchange and the close communication connection between TRANSLINK, its global offices, clients, and agents.
