(Transener) is the leading company in the public service of extra high voltage electricity transmission in the Argentine Republic. As operator of the national grid, Transener is comprised of almost 12,400 kilometers of transmission lines, adding the 6,228 kilometers of lines that make up the network of its subsidiary, Empresa de Transporte de Energía Eléctrica por Distribución Troncal de la Provincia de Buenos Aires Sociedad Anónima Transba S.A.
