Service Engineer/Fitter Location: Cheddleton, near Stoke-on-Trent Salary: £22k + Overtime An opportunity for a Service Engineer/Fitter has arisen within an innovative materials handling company. Here at Tractive Power, we specialise in battery powered pedestrian tug units. Our electric tugs are an excellent solution to manual handling and health and safety issues within the workplace. Due to exciting business expansion, we are now looking for a service Engineer/Fitter to join our team. The Service Engineer/Fitter will provide expert maintenance and support carrying out onsite service and repair work nationally at our customer sites and assemble our products here at Tractive Power To be considered for this role, please apply today with your CV. Duties will include: Assembly of our pedestrian tug units Sound background in Mechanical Engineering and light steel fabrication Knowledge of DC electrical wiring and basic hydraulic systems Presentable, self-motivated with excellent communication and organisational skills Onsite repair work at customer sites nationwide Diagnosis of faults and maintenance and repair of our electric tugs Key Skills Product assembly and fitting Multi-meter knowledge to test continuity and DC electrics Basic hydraulic experience Full, clean driving licence In return for your hard work, you will receive a competitive salary with overtime potential, optional company pension scheme and an opportunity to grow with our exciting company.
