About Toroid do Brasil

The TOROID group was started in the mid-80s in the United States by engineer and master Gunnar Ennerfelt. More precisely, in 1982 he founded the Toroid Corporation of Maryland, USA. Since then, it has built a solid reputation for superior quality and knowledge acquired over decades, achieving a prominent position in the North American market. Toroid do Brasil was founded in 1994 by Swedish engineer Lars Christian Ennerfelt Schnock (Gunnar Ennerfelt's brother), beginning its activities in a space as small as a garage, with only one machine for winding small toroids, up to 100VA, and a small team of three people. Small, however, enthusiastic about the possibilities that were emerging in Brazil, applying all the technology in the manufacture of Toroidal Transformers, it began a new era for this type of product in the national market, in addition to relying on the great experience that Christian Ennerfelt acquired working at Volvo in Sweden and at the Brazilian subsidiary. Through arduous work between phone calls and hundreds of letters, the company gained more and more space in the national market. With market expansion, the "garage" soon became too small, and in 2004 it was necessary to move to a new space of about 600m². Toroid do Brasil continued to grow, and in 2016 it moved to a new space of about 1600m². The growth did not stop, and today we have hundreds of clients, capacity for manufacturing thousands of products, between standard and customized lines. And with our entire structure, we are able to produce toroidal transformers from 5 VA to 15 kVA, including Autotransformers and Single-phase Isolators, Current Transformers, Inductors, Filters, Chokes, and above all - Innovative Solutions. Mission: Transforming Energy and Lives. Vision: To be an environment where respect and commitment to our people are transformed into energy to produce more.
