About tocotoco株式会社

We are creating a new form of welfare that stays with each person's life, a "gentle infrastructure," through the operation of the "tocotoco" brand and consulting in welfare and healthcare. ▼The "gentle infrastructure" we handle: - Comprehensive care service for disabled people's group homes: tocotoco home - Psychiatric home nursing service: tocotoco nurse - Employment continuation support service: tocotoco work, etc. Among these, "Pet-coexisting group homes for people with disabilities," one of tocotoco homes, differs from general group homes for people with disabilities in that it utilizes vacant houses and encourages the adoption of rescue dogs and cats. Based on the "pursuit of human welfare and animal welfare," we solve social problems through our business. By creating an environment where people can coexist with animals, we are attracting attention from inside and outside the industry with a unique business model that solves the three social issues of "shortage of group homes for people with disabilities," "vacant house problem," and "pet euthanasia problem." Starting in August 2018, we have opened a cumulative total of 2,000 locations, supporting the lives of over 10,000 people with disabilities. In addition, in March 2021, we achieved No. 1 in two categories, "Number of group home openings for people with disabilities" and "Number of new openings per month for group homes for people with disabilities," in a survey by the Japan Marketing Research Organization. ▼Impact of pet-coexisting group homes for people with disabilities on society - Number of vacant houses utilized: 1193 buildings - Number of dogs and cats saved from euthanasia: 796 - Shortage of housing for people with disabilities: 2000 facilities nationwide
