TNG is not simply a fashion retailer. We breathe, feel, and live the young fashion spirit. And this did not happen overnight; it was born with us in 1984, the year the country was undergoing a series of revolutions and Tito Bessa, founder of TNG, was undergoing a personal revolution: he dropped out of his last year of Economics to embark on the dream of having a clothing brand for men. But not just any brand. He wanted something that deviated from the basic and stepped out of the ordinary. That's how TNG was born. The name TNG was born from the abbreviation of Teenager, which is our main audience. However, we don't limit ourselves by age. For us, there are teenagers from 15 to 60 years old; it's a matter of spirit and attitude. "It wasn't easy to decide on our new logo, but when they presented me with the figure of a stylized lion, I thought the animal could translate the strength of a brand that has only shown growth since its creation," says Tito Bessa Jr. The business caught the taste of young Brazilians and began to expand. Stores and more stores opened, and after a few years in the market, in 1999, TNG entered the women's market, creating its first collection for young Brazilian women. It was such a success that in 2003 TNG made its debut at Fashion Rio, and since then, always with internationally renowned models, such as Naomi Campbell, Carol Trentini, Isabeli Fontana, Mariana Weickert, and national actors like Rodrigo Hilbert, Cleo Pires, Isis Valverde, among others. In 2014, upon completing 30 years in the market, TNG debuted at SPFW, the most important fashion week in the country. Not bad for someone who just turned 30. Today, TNG has men's and women's collections. In addition to following the main international fashion trends, TNG also creates trends, always thinking outside the box, developing looks with its own identity. In every collection, our young DNA is evident, without forgetting, of course, to maintain an accessible price. TNG is everywhere.
