TJØME GOLFKLUBB

About TJØME GOLFKLUBB

Tjøme Golfklubb is beautifully situated in the Vestfold archipelago, surrounded by stately oak trees and a tranquil park landscape that makes a round of golf something more than 18 holes – it is an experience in some of Norway's most beautiful summer surroundings, with sea air and archipelago atmosphere within comfortable walking distance. The club was founded in 1991, when a 9-hole course opened on Tjøme at the initiative of cousins Hans H. J. Hoff and Ole-Jacob Hoff. In 2006, the course took a big step forward: we expanded to a "Double Nine" course, where players complete the same geographical loop twice, but play completely different holes and flags on the nine- and eighteen-hole rounds, respectively. The result is an 18-hole, par 72 course of 5,388 meters that offers variety and challenge all the way, with four different tee options adapted to golfers of all levels – from the fresh beginner to the experienced scratch player. With us, you are welcome whether you are an experienced golfer or have never hit a shot before. We offer beginner courses, a separate junior group and ladies' group, and a strong social community on and off the course. Every year, we organize, among other things, the Tjøme Invitational, one of the season's major highlights, in addition to a number of other tournaments and social gatherings throughout the season. In addition to the course itself, we have a pro shop, a training area with a driving range, and Kafé Rosso, where you can enjoy food and drink in pleasant surroundings after your round. Tjøme Golfklubb currently has around 900 members who share the joy of golf and archipelago idyll. Whether you live on Tjøme, are a summer guest in the archipelago, or simply looking for a memorable golf experience: We look forward to welcoming you to the course!
