Tintas 2000, S.A. was founded in August 1980. Starting with only 1,200m2 of area, 20 employees, and a production of 500 tons/year, Tintas 2000's main objective was to be a company capable of offering various solutions to the market. Fábrica de Tintas 2000 is the paint factory with the highest rate of evolution, and it prides itself on being the company that has grown the most in this sector, out of more than 100 founded in the last 30 years. During the 1980s, Tintas 2000 grew, showing an increasing capacity to respond to the market year after year, developing different production areas, plastic paints, enamels, and varnishes. In 1986, the company decided to invest in polyurethane varnishes and primers for the wood furniture industry, which became a differentiating factor and positioning for the company. In a short time, Tintas 2000 achieved market leadership in the furniture industry, which remains a "calling card" to this day. Currently, Fábrica de Tintas 2000, S.A. has a team of 130 employees and a production capacity of 15,000 tons/year. The company is among the 6 largest paint and varnish factories in the country, out of a total of 169 producers in the sector.
