At the beginning, there was the idea of making a contribution to our society - a society whose fundamental values include leaving no one behind. This desire prompted citizens to found timeout e.V. (now timeout Stiftung gemeinnützige GmbH) in 2002. With over 200 dedicated employees, we create and shape spaces that offer opportunities. From kindergartens and residential groups to a secondary school, we are committed as a social service provider to the motto - leaving no one behind. The idea of creating a place for school dropouts that reignites the desire to learn and sparks curiosity has led to the establishment of a foundation. This foundation will continue to provide practical support in the future, developing and implementing both offerings and preventive concepts against disadvantage and exclusion. We are happy to offer a space for your ideas and are open to collaborations that have a sustainable impact on people who cannot develop their potential without our support. Our idea originated in the heart of the Hochschwarzwald, but the concepts developed from it are highly effective beyond the region. Please feel free to contact us.
