Tikktronics was founded in 1995 by Antero Tikkanen with 18 years of experience as a product engineer and service engineer at ASEA/ABB Service. Initially, the business consisted mostly of emergency service and preventive maintenance (PM). In 2000, the company moved into new premises and the staff was expanded. Now, ongoing service agreements and larger renovation projects could also be carried out. The company works with many different categories of customers. This ranges from large process industries such as paper mills and chemical industries with many motor drives to small workshops with machine tools. Another important area is data facilities where computers are protected against network disturbances using UPS.
