Tigros traces its roots back to 1979, the year in which Luigi Orrigoni, an entrepreneur from Varese, decided to take his first steps in the food retail sector by opening the first supermarket in Castronno. Luigi Orrigoni's great attention to the market led him to observe and understand the needs of the nascent distribution market, leading to the birth of Tigros Supermercati, formalized with the opening of the Buguggiate store. The constant and impeccable attention to product quality, especially in the fresh departments, and the affordability of prices immediately found great customer response, thus motivating Luigi Orrigoni to focus and specialize in the food distribution sector. Today, Tigros is an important player in large-scale retail, with 68 stores in the provinces of Varese, Novara, Verbano Cusio Ossola, Como, Vercelli, Pavia, and Milan. Tigros's corporate mission is to continuously satisfy the purchasing needs of its customers for food products, fostering loyalty with punctual and convenient service.
