About The Village Family Services

The Village Family Services is a bilingual, community-based nonprofit serving children, youth, and families across Los Angeles County. Founded in 1997, our mission is to protect children from abuse, preserve families, and build a stronger, safer community. We provide culturally responsive foster care and adoption services, outpatient mental health and wraparound support, and housing and stabilization services for youth experiencing homelessness. Our approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and grounded in the lived experiences of the communities we serve. In Fiscal Year 2024–2025, The Village Family Services served 2,645 children, youth, and families. We envision a community where children, youth, and families are safe, supported, and free from abuse, neglect, and instability.
