About The Spectator Hotel

From the moment you enter, you’ll be enchanted by the personality of The Spectator: a mix of the captivating charm of the Southern belle, the flair of the flapper, and the elegance of the socialite. There’s both style and substance here. The Spectator Hotel resides at the enviable intersection of two of the most desirable areas in the South: Charleston’s French Quarter and Market Street districts. Our 41-room boutique hotel offers three levels of guestrooms highlighted by a social gathering area and bar that features golden twenties era inspired spirits. And then there’s our famous Southern hospitality. Our attention to you – our guest – is unmatched. Take, for example, our personalized butlers – the only service of its kind in Charleston. These highly trained and specialized professionals are the charming face of The Spectator and the trusted gatekeeper to you – our valuable guest.
