About THE PROFESSIONAL GROUP

Our team of companies within The Professional Group is proud of over 1,500 team members who are simply "The Best". The unwavering success behind this group is powerful because of our veteran management teams and committed people who thrive on a very contagious attitude and simple foundation - Honesty. The Professional Group was diversified from a $12 million janitorial-supply company in 1998 into a $35 million "professional" group of companies in 2002. Taking over the family-owned cleaning-supply business, Colman Wolf Sanitary Supply Co., in 1998, President Doug Hamburger expanded to include, Professional Building Maintenance L.L.C. and Preferred Building Services L.L.C., as well as a landscaping company, Professional Grounds Services L.L.C. In 2002, Professional Plantscaping Services L.L.C., an interior-paint and design company made an addition to the team. The Professional Group operates nationally and has a team of over 1,500 employees that service a variety of customer needs in the property management arena. The Professional Group has been recognized in Metro Detroit as a leader in the industry and as of 2010 has become a Belfor Company.
