The Genesis Company began as a new chapter, re-opening on January 1, 2018, after operating for 10 years as the JCMG Laser & Vein Center under JCMG. This fresh start allowed for greater influence over services and client care. Dr. Prasad, our medical director and owner, established the Edgewood location in 2007 and has been treating varicose vein disease since 1996. Recognizing that many patients delayed treatment until their disease was advanced, he founded a destination vein center to raise awareness and offer Mid-Missouri residents proactive options for managing vein disease symptoms and preventing progression. This evolution also sparked interest in expanding services to improve quality of life. Over the past decade, we've grown from offering a few aesthetic services to operating a full-service medspa, which opened in July 2016. Today, we continue to provide comprehensive vein care at Genesis Laser & Vein Center. Genesis Medspa offers an extensive menu of medical aesthetic, spa, and bioidentical hormone replacement services. Our goal is to remain at the forefront of advancements in vein care and other services designed to enhance your health, well-being, and beauty.
