The Accounting Equation

About The Accounting Equation

The Accounting Equation is a small, local practice based in the beautiful Cornish town of Penzance. We understand both the up and down sides to living in a lovely part of the UK – it has stunning scenery, we are literally surrounded on 3 sides by the sea, the air is clean and breathable but income can be seasonal, jobs dependent on the unpredictable weather, not to mention the issues that have come about since Covid raised its head. Yes, we do count beans and crunch numbers but we always treat clients as the individuals they are: all businesses operate in different ways, even if they are in the same trade or profession. We like to think we celebrate our clients’ uniqueness and make sure that we communicate in a way which is friendly, informative and cuts out “accountant-speak”, ensuring clients are kept fully advised of their financial and tax position, without being overwhelmed.
