About TETO Brasil

Since 2006, TETO, a Latin American organization present in 18 countries, has been working in Brazil, mobilizing young volunteers to work alongside families living in informal settlements in situations of extreme vulnerability. The organization develops emergency housing and habitat solutions that sustain and expand access to a dignified, just life free from poverty. Throughout its history, TETO has mobilized more than 100,000 volunteers, supported more than 5,300 families with emergency housing, and implemented more than 327 community impact projects. It currently operates in seven Brazilian states (SP, RJ, BA, PE, DF, RS, and PR). By 2030, we have the mission to enable more than 10,000 families to stop living on dirt floors.
