Tele2 is one of the leading operators in Europe. In Lithuania, the company has been providing services since 2000. After starting its operations, it soon grew into a market leader – this is one of the few examples where the lowest position rose to first place in its sector. Tele2 received the title of Most Desired Employer in the Lithuanian technology sector for the second year in a row in the "Verslo žinios" rankings. In the "Aon Best Employers program" study conducted by "OVC Consulting", the operator was recognized as one of the best employers in the Baltic States in 2017. In a study conducted by "Equileap" in 2020, Tele2 ranked first in gender equality among Swedish "OMX30" companies. According to the global greenhouse gas protocol, Tele2 became the first operator in 2020 whose operations have a neutral impact on the climate. In the same year, "Sustainable Brand Index™️" recognized the company as the most sustainable mobile operator in Lithuania. At the "Verslo žinios" conferences "Business Management 2018: Victory Management" and "Business Management 2017: Strategy and Team", Tele2 was recognized as the leader of the Lithuanian technology sector. The operator was recognized in 2020 by Lithuanian state and public social initiative organizers for the team's contribution during the global pandemic. Tele2 was the first in Lithuania to introduce a smart call management solution for business, which won first place in the "New Book Smuggler 2017" competition. Our mission is to provide quality mobile communication services to our customers. We are constantly investing in the improvement of 2G, 3G and 4G stations, and fast 4G and 4G+ internet is available to 99% of Lithuania's population.
