About Tejidos Jorgito

Jorge is the name of the Founders' Father. He was born in Sicuani, Cuzco. He married Amelia, and both dedicated themselves from a very young age to working as merchants and sewing in small workshops. They had 7 children; whom they involved in the family business from a very young age. Now in Lima, almost 30 years ago, 4 of the siblings founded Tejidos Jorgito, in honor of their Father. Currently, the 4 siblings continue to manage the company directly or indirectly. Jorge and Amelia were always protagonists of their businesses, they are remembered by those who worked with them as kind, approachable, hardworking, and humble people; and these are the characteristics that their children inherited and practice every day.
