About TECHNE

TECHNE was created over 30 years ago in the field of sealing. Initially a trading company, TECHNE evolved towards production at the end of the 1980s. The company settled in the south of Beaujolais, in MORANCE, in 1989. The manufacture of standard machined seals (hydraulic seals, for example) or custom seals began at that time. The 2000s were marked by important projects: acquisition of CHROMEX and creation of our Chinese factory TTRC in 2004, acquisition of H+ VALVES in 2006, establishment of our commercial subsidiary in Shanghai in 2006, development of surface treatments in 2007, acquisition of Rampini in 2010. We also established ourselves in Turkey in 2011. In 2015, Créat, a company specializing in the production of seals for the aeronautical and railway sectors, joined the Techné group.
