TAM Finans is an innovative factoring company based in İstanbul. It was established in 2011 as an investment of Actera Group; EBRD is one of the shareholders with a 9.5% share. After developing and restructuring for the first three years, it caught a growth trend and as of today, there are 39 branches located in 26 cities around Turkey. Tam Finans is an SME focused factoring company with 20,000 active customers, positioning it in the first row among competitors. Being the one and only non-bank finance company with an R&D department, all decisions are taken by AI software developed by this team. All factoring applications are evaluated via a scorecard supported with AI; a very significant amount of them are rated automatically, and the rest are scored by the credit and risk underwriters. Tam Finans has a vision and mindset to search and find how business can be done more intelligently and digitally, and how risk evaluation and management can be more intelligent. In 2016, Global CIO magazine awarded the company as one of the “Top 100 Companies to Use Technology Effectively”. In 2017, Computerworld magazine awarded Hakan Karamanlı (CIO) as “Premier 100 Technology Leadership”. Tam Finans has sustainable R&D activities in collaboration with selected universities like Yıldız Technical University, MEF University, and Özyeğin University, and TÜBİTAK.
