TAG CORPORATION was set up in the year 1972. With a wide range of exposure to the high voltage power transmission domain and have evolved into a market leader in providing hardware and accessory expertise to our discerning clients. TAG is accredited with many industry firsts such as – The first 400 kV hardware manufacturer, Developed 4R Dampers, HVDC fittings and 1200 kV AC Octagonal Bundle Hardware Fittings & Octagonal Spacer Damper indigenously, The only Laboratory in India (NABL Certified Laboratory ISO/IEC 17025:2005) to have successfully tested more than 60 type of conductors from various manufacturers as per Indian and international energy standards. The only manufacturer in India to Design & Develop, Manufacture and successfully tested Twin, Triple, Quadruple and Hexagonal Spacer Dampers. Promising future Some key strategic initiatives have been made possible by the vision and hindsight of the second generation leadership at the helm of the company. As a part of NPI Strategy TAG successfully ventured into Design, Manufacture, Testing and supply of hardware fittings for OPGW ‘optical ground wire conductors’. TAG market expansion strategy will see entry into international markets like Kenya, Nigeria, Zambia, Vietnam, and Oman to name a few.
