About TÜV Thüringen

For more than three decades, TÜV Thüringen has stood for quality and safety from the heart of Germany. From our roots as a technical inspection association, we have developed into a modern, internationally active service company that ensures safety, efficiency, and sustainability for customers worldwide in a wide variety of ways. Our most important tasks today revolve around the same questions as in the time of the first steam boilers: How can people, goods, and our environment be protected from dangers that can emanate from technology? The answers are as diverse as the technology that has surrounded us since the beginnings of the Technical Inspection Associations. With our work, we contribute to the safe use of innovations and their subsequent market success. TÜV Thüringen offers a large and constantly growing portfolio of services for this purpose, ranging from initial and further training to the inspection of various products and the certification of processes. Worldwide, more than 1,100 experts are deployed in our name, for whom the safety of others is just as important as their own. Independence and impartiality are a matter of course for each of them. Our work is consistently focused on solving our customers' problems. We are committed to ensuring that technical systems, vehicles, systems, and know-how can be used optimally – because only then can the best possible values be achieved in terms of resource efficiency and emissions behavior. This benefits not only the environment and climate but also the competitiveness of our customers.
