About Szerencsejáték Zrt.

Szerencsejáték Zrt. is a national lottery organizer company, wholly owned by the state and one of Hungary's highest-revenue companies. Its offerings include lottery games, scratch cards, and sports betting products, supported by one of the country's largest sales networks with approximately 7,000 points of sale. As a responsible gaming organizer, we provide legal gambling opportunities for everyone over 18. The social value of Szerencsejáték Zrt. is evident in that two-thirds of the gambling tax revenue supports domestic culture (National Cultural Fund, National Film Institute) and sports. In addition, through its own non-profit subsidiary, it provides annual support for the implementation of numerous cultural, sports, health, educational, and youth protection programs. The company places particular importance on both responsible gaming organization and the prevention and treatment of gambling addiction, to which it consistently devotes significant attention during its operations. It is important for the Company to participate in solving social problems as a responsible employer; since 2003 – for 22 years – it has maintained its charitable network employing people with disabilities, where nearly 180 scratch card sales colleagues work – 10 percent of the 1850 employees. Our company is a respected member of the European Lotteries (EL) and the World Lottery Association (WLA) communities. In previous years, the Company won the Randstad Award for "Most Attractive Employer in the Service Sector," and the "Inclusive Employer of the Year" award in the Érték vagy! program. In 2023, we received a gold rating in the OFA (National Employment Fund) Responsible Employer Application. Our "A játék összeköt" (The game connects) program received a Doing Good CSR Award Special Mention.
