Supermercados Imperatriz

About Supermercados Imperatriz

Looking forward without forgetting the values of the past. Super Imperatriz, in its almost four decades of history, has only achieved success in this journey because it has maintained the roots and principles present since the inauguration of the first store in August 1974 in Santo Amaro da Imperatriz/SC. The feelings of founder Vidal Procópio Lohn remain alive. Whether he imagined such splendid growth is an unknown. The certainty of offering the best to customers and contributing to a society with a better quality of life were constant thoughts since he sold colonial products from a horse-drawn cart full of delicacies. Bold plans emerged as the visionary's persistence consolidated with the growth of the market and his 11 children. From that first 100-square-meter establishment, one of the largest retailers in the State of Santa Catarina was formed. In the late 1980s, the network already had nine stores in the greater Florianópolis region. The borders are smaller for Super Imperatriz, present in the cities of Florianópolis, São José, Palhoça, Santo Amaro da Imperatriz, Balneário Camboriú, and Rio do Sul. The success, resulting from various factors, is dedicated every day to the efforts of its talented and committed employees, as well as its supplier partners and thousands of loyal customers. Currently, there are 16 supermarkets, 8 restaurants, and a distribution center capable of storing 12,500 pallet positions, equivalent to the load of 500 trucks. Whether in the first store in Santo Amaro da Imperatriz or at Imperatriz Gourmet with its refined culinary standards, in any of the network's stores, now managed by the second generation of the Lohn family, one can perceive the same characteristics of pioneering and evolution to bring the best to customers and employees, mirrored in the same principles of Vidal Procópio Lohn.
