About Supermercados BH

The story of Supermercados BH began in May 1996, the result of the entrepreneurial vision of Pedro Lourenço de Oliveira. Since then, we have followed a path guided by simplicity in management, competence, perseverance, and valuable partnerships. We are driven by a commitment to quality, fair prices, and good service. Over 29 years, we have earned the trust of millions of customers and established ourselves as one of the largest supermarket chains in Brazil, currently holding the 4th position in the national ABRAS ranking and absolute leadership in Minas Gerais. We are present in 366 active stores, with 325 in 108 municipalities in Minas Gerais and 41 in 11 cities in Espírito Santo. We have a team of over 40,000 direct employees and a turnover exceeding R$ 21 billion in 2024. Recently, we began operating with a new and modern distribution center in Contagem/MG, which further strengthens our logistics infrastructure. Every step of our expansion reflects the care and trust of our customers. We have built a solid relationship with the communities in which we operate, contributing to local development, generating jobs, promoting social and environmental actions, and encouraging sports. With a vision for the future and solid values, we continue to make our mark on national retail, not just as a supermarket chain, but as a true agent of social, economic, and environmental transformation in the communities where we operate.
