About Supermercado Bahia

Supermercado Bahia is family-owned and has been in the retail business since 1978 when a small bar was opened. In 1988, it transformed into a grocery store. As the family has always been involved in retail, they saw an opportunity to enter the market because the neighborhood lacked supermarket-style businesses to meet the demand. Thus, in 1998, a small supermarket was inaugurated in the Botujuru neighborhood of Campo Limpo Paulista. Initially, a small commercial space was rented with only one checkout. After a few years, land was purchased and the building the company is located in today in Campo Limpo Paulista was constructed. In 2010, with business expansion, a branch was opened in Jarinu in the Nova Trieste neighborhood. The company's owners work hard to achieve their goals and utilize their retail knowledge and entrepreneurial vision to reach their targets and position the company in the market. In 2017, there was further growth with the inauguration of another branch in the Maracanã neighborhood, also in Jarinu.
