Subaşı Gümrük Müşavirliği A.Ş. was founded in 1948 under the title of "Customs Brokerage". We have an experienced and dynamic team of over 500 people, including 27 customs consultants. Customs clearance procedures are not solely concluded within the framework of Law No. 4458. In addition to the Customs Regulation and other directives related to the Law, the implementation of the Import Regime Decision and Law No. 474 on Tariffs is not sufficient for mere customs clearance. It is only possible to conclude the procedures swiftly and without error by investigating and examining the goods items, which differ according to their Combined Nomenclature (G.T.İ.P.), within their own specific legislation. In issues concerning the country as a whole, such as health, agriculture, industry, finance, and general economy, it is necessary to determine the specific conditions of the goods subject to customs clearance and to follow and implement the current decisions of the relevant ministries and often the government. It should not be forgotten that in modern customs brokerage, incentive measures such as protectionism, exemptions, and waivers are prioritized as much as possible, rather than tax collection.
