The Stuttgart Airport is more than a usual workplace. Employees in around 300 companies and authorities ensure that everything runs smoothly at Stuttgart Airport every day. They take care of security checks, check-in, operate gastronomy and shops, and keep operations running at the airport. They all share the same passion and work hand in hand to safely send around 9.6 million passengers and almost 35,000 tons of cargo per year on their way around the globe. Around 2,200 employees work every day to keep STR moving. They bring their expertise in areas such as civil engineering, technology, IT, automotive, aviation, and purchasing. Because as a state airport, it is our task to make Baden-Württemberg accessible worldwide. We connect 19 million people in the Stuttgart region with their holiday destinations, their homeland, or their friends.
