Community. Connection. Capacity Building. Strong Futures Allied Health is an Aboriginal owned allied health provider. We started up because we noticed that allied health providers were not doing a good job being culturally safe or providing trauma informed care for Aboriginal people with disabilities. We deliver speech pathology and occupational therapy capacity building supports across Perth metro, the Pilbara, and the Kimberley region. We work with people who have involvement in the justice system, who have FASD, acquired brain injury, psychosocial disability, autism, and many other disabilities. We’re Supply Nation registered, members of the Indigenous Allied Health Association, our work is grounded in the AHCWA Social and Emotional Wellbeing framework, using culturally safe health frameworks. We show up on Country. We don’t ask people to come to us. Travelling to over 7 Communities in the Kimberley region. If you’re an ACCHO, NDIS coordinator, justice service, Government agency, school, or family looking for allied health that actually understands the people it’s built for, we’d love to connect.
