About Strömstads kommun

Strömstad is located in Västra Götaland County and has a population of just over 13,000 people. Strömstad Municipality is an active player in the development of the community. Strömstad Municipality is the largest employer in Strömstad. Our mission is to provide the best possible service in everything from schools, child and elderly care to urban planning, environment, waste management, water and sewage. We consider the needs of the residents and strive for collaboration with public, non-profit, and private actors. Our organization has a belief in the future based on responsibility, respect, trust, and honesty. We need to recruit new engaged employees for our important jobs. Strömstad borders Norway and is an international, charming small town, right by the sea, surrounded by beautiful nature. There is much here for those who want to experience nature. To the west is Sweden's first marine national park – Kosterhavet National Park.
