About Storumans kommun

Storumans municipality is located in southern Lapland with just over 5,800 inhabitants. We are a mountain municipality heading towards exciting development. Here you will find a rapidly growing tourism industry, wind and hydropower, and vital small businesses. Our ski resorts Hemavan and Tärnaby attract many visitors both summer and winter. Storumans municipality is responsible for childcare, schools, and elderly care, as well as community planning, waste management, individual and family care, environment, culture, recreation, and more. Our headquarters are in the central town of Storuman, but we also have a branch in Tärnaby. We have many interesting job opportunities, and in the coming years, we will need to recruit many new and engaged colleagues. Perhaps you are one of them?
