About Stiftung ZKJ

The foundation aims to continue the children's and youth homes previously managed by the City of Zurich. It offers a differentiated and high-quality range of stationary and semi-stationary socio-pedagogical and special-needs educational facilities. The foundation's goal is to support young people with impaired development opportunities, especially from the city and canton of Zurich, on their path to a meaningful and independent life, and in particular to prepare them for professional life. The foundation may establish, take over, and operate further facilities or close facilities that are no longer needed to fulfill the foundation's purpose. Art. 2 of the foundation deed of November 18, 1998.
