If you ask Mercedes drivers in Northern Germany about the dealership they trust, you will still get very diverse answers today: Mürdter, Rudeloff, Frido Anders, Kuhlow, Santelmann, Hans Tesmer … All sonorous names with a long tradition, incredible know-how, and a deep connection to the region. For decades, these companies shaped the market until two major mergers occurred in 2000. The Mercedes-Benz dealerships Frido Anders in Uelzen, Santelmann in Lüneburg, Mürdter-Kuhlow in Soltau and Celle, as well as the car dealership Mathias Kuhlow Walsrode merged to form the newly founded STERNPARTNER GmbH & Co. KG, based in Uelzen. A little further north, the companies Hans Tesmer and Rudeloff Automobile merged at the same time – already under the leadership of Klaus-Günther Mohrmann as managing director and Hans-Adolf Völsch as sole shareholder, who are still writing the company's success story today. The result was two large Mercedes-Benz representatives who have served the market between Hamburg and Hanover in peaceful coexistence for over 20 years. Both feel deeply committed to their long tradition and the roots that reach back in some cases over 100 years into automotive history. A philosophy that laid the foundation for the next major merger in the Northern German Mercedes-Benz representative world. On January 1, 2021, the companies STERNPARTNER and Hans Tesmer merged into the new STERNPARTNER GmbH & Co. KG, based in Hamburg. This created Northern Germany's largest Mercedes-Benz representation from two large ones. The group comprises a total of 20 car dealerships and service points, which continue to operate on the market as Hans Tesmer and STERNPARTNER. More than 1,100 employees are active for the predominantly regional clientele and ensure mobility.
