Stadtwerke Weimar GmbH

About Stadtwerke Weimar GmbH

Stadtwerke Weimar has reliably supplied the city and its surrounding area with electricity, gas, and heat for over 30 years. As a local company and basic supplier, we focus on sustainable energy supply and innovative solutions for a liveable future in Weimar. Our portfolio includes secure electricity, gas, and heat supply as well as modern energy services. With WeimarStrom Mobil, we offer 100% green electricity for electromobility and support the expansion of sustainable charging infrastructure in the region. In addition to promoting electromobility, we focus on climate-friendly heat supply and are actively involved in the decarbonization of Weimar's district heating. At the same time, we take responsibility for our city: we promote social life in Weimar by supporting clubs, social institutions, and cultural events – especially in the areas of education, sports, culture, environment/sustainability, and social affairs. With our sustainable products WeimarStrom Öko and WeimarGas Direkt Öko, we focus on environmentally friendly energy supply. Furthermore, we are actively committed to climate protection and biodiversity in our region – with initiatives such as the StadtWerkeWald and our "honey-sweet" environmental project Energie-Bienen to preserve species diversity. With all our energy ... for Weimar!
