Stadtmission Nürnberg

About Stadtmission Nürnberg

Under the motto "Help in Life," Stadtmission Nürnberg has been committed to people in Nuremberg and the surrounding area for more than 130 years. Together with our 48 facilities and eleven subsidiaries, we support those seeking advice and help in the areas of poverty, mental illness, autism, addiction, criminality, social disadvantage, children, youth and family, health impairments, migration, and old age. As a member of the Diakonie (Diaconal Work) of the Evangelical Lutheran State Church of Bavaria, we fulfill our diaconal service, adhere to a Christian image of humanity, and also see ourselves as a politically and socially influential actor. We advocate for an inclusive, opportunity-equitable, and solidary urban society in Nuremberg, characterized by equal rights and self-determination. We stand for these values – also as an employer.
