Stadt Norderstedt

About Stadt Norderstedt

Norderstedt is the fourth-largest city in Schleswig-Holstein with more than 83,500 inhabitants. People from more than 140 nations live and work here. Located in the metropolitan region and in close proximity to Hamburg, Norderstedt is an outstanding economic location – and as a young, growing city, it offers an attractive home, especially for many families. The city is an employer for more than 1,200 employees – our colleagues and their work for the citizens are visible and tangible throughout the city area: on the streets and in the parks, in daycare centers, youth centers, city libraries, the adult education center, in cemeteries, the city museum, and of course in the town hall. Each of us contributes their expertise to the city's society: we live sustainable urban planning, environmental protection, culture, education, digitalization, and more! Sounds good? As a growing city, we are looking for people who want to master future challenges together with us.
