Stadt Menden (Sauerland)

About Stadt Menden (Sauerland)

The city of Menden (Sauerland) offers secure, modern workplaces and diverse employment opportunities. Flat hierarchies and room for maneuver are a matter of course. We shape things for the people in Menden. We live the service ethos and consistently see ourselves as "enablers". Our offering is rounded off by family-friendly working hours, regular training opportunities, and a friendly working atmosphere. For example, we want to make it easier for parents returning from parental leave with reduced working hours and who wish to work part-time to reconcile family and career through various offers. Menden (Sauerland) is a cosmopolitan and culturally open city. It corresponds to our self-image to enable all people in the city equal participation and opportunities at all levels of society. Equality of opportunity, equal treatment, and dealing with interculturality are necessary and indispensable elements of our administrative actions.
