The Städtisches Klinikum Dessau is a hospital providing specialized care and an academic teaching hospital of the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. It has approximately 700 beds. Annually, around 36,000 patients are treated as inpatients. The Städtisches Klinikum Dessau is a municipal enterprise of the city of Dessau-Roßlau. The personnel responsibility lies with the Lord Mayor. The hospital management consists of the Administrative Director, the Medical Director, and the Head of Nursing Services. Nearly all medical specialties are represented through clinics, institutes, or departments with extensive, modern diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities.
