Square Group

About Square Group

Square Group encompasses a range of companies that originated from the growth of Aclagro. This growth was achieved through both internal expansion and external acquisitions. Square Group is primarily active in Flanders but is increasingly developing towards Brussels and Wallonia. The common thread throughout the group's fields of activity is, on the one hand, the synergies between the various branches and companies and, on the other hand, a strong emphasis on sustainable entrepreneurship. Square Group constantly seeks to maximize recycling streams: Starting from the contracting activities of Aclagro (road works, demolition, soil remediation), waste streams are converted into secondary raw materials at the recycling centers of AC Materials (sites in Wondelgem, Desteldonk, Puurs, Bruges, Vlierzele) and reused for the reconstruction of infrastructure works. The soil cleaning center (part of Aclagro) processes contaminated soils from soil remediation. At Oryx Projects, the aim is to reuse ecological or legal brownfields for the development of urban projects. DD Shipping is the latest addition to the group. Water transport for AC Materials and the soil cleaning center is a significant asset. Square Group nv, as a Shared Service Center, is responsible for the supporting services for all companies within Square Group.
