The Spoedeisende Psychiatrie Amsterdam handles Public Mental Health Services (OGGz) matters 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Outside office hours, Spoedeisende Psychiatrie Amsterdam also handles General Mental Health Services (AGGz) and youth care matters (Bureau Jeugdzorg Agglomeratie Amsterdam - BJAA). These AGGz reports are made during office hours by the Acute Treatment Teams of the two regional mental health institutions GGZ inGeest and Arkin and the Bureau Jeugdzorg Agglomeratie Amsterdam (BJAA).
