About Sortiva bv

Sortiva is the producer of secondary raw materials from waste streams in North Holland. Improvements are constantly sought to upgrade raw materials to a higher quality with the lowest possible environmental impact. In addition to processing waste, Sortiva is an energy producer with 2 own wind turbines and over 8,000 solar panels. Sortiva generates more energy than it consumes. The company was founded in 1998 by HVC and GP Groot. Initially, Sortiva focused on processing bulky household waste. In 2005, both shareholders placed all their recycling activities under Sortiva. We process waste streams such as rubble, wood, green waste, soil, construction, demolition, and household waste. This happens at three locations: Alkmaar, Middenmeer, and Vijfhuizen. As of 1-1-2023, the recycling locations of Bnext.nl have been taken over, giving us processing locations in Amsterdam, Vlaardingen, Houten, and Heerhugowaard.
