The 125 employees at Sorgente are dedicated every day to supporting people who need medical nutrition at home. This was the vision of the three dietitians who founded the company in 1997. Years later, Sorgente is known within the healthcare sector as a specialist in medical nutrition. What makes our services distinctive? We strive to understand the needs of patients and their loved ones. This goes beyond quickly receiving the necessary medical nutrition; we also offer support with its use. Whether it's about storing the nutrition, how to consume it, or trying different flavors, our employees provide personal advice. To provide every patient with the right care, we work with four specialized Customer Teams: Customer Team Tube Feeding, Customer Team Oral Nutritional Supplements, Customer Team Pediatric Care, and Customer Team Metabolic Preparations. It is good to know that the Tube Feeding Customer Team works closely with a team of nutritional nurses. Our BIG-registered nutritional nurses are authorized and competent to perform all nursing procedures necessary for the care and use of tube feeding in a home setting. Before contacting the patient, the dietitian or doctor submits a prescription via the Sorgente Digital Application System (DAS).
