Soqquadro Italiano

About Soqquadro Italiano

Soqquadro Italiano is a musical project created by director Claudio Borgianni and singer Vincenzo Capezzuto. The idea for this project stems from Borgianni and Capezzuto's shared interest in Italian artistic, musical, and theatrical production between the 16th and 17th centuries. Soqquadro Italiano is a music ensemble. Each project is conceived and developed by opening our perspective to all artistic lineages with the desire and interest for continuous CONTAMINATION. Soqquadro Italiano is a dance company. The musical repertoire ranges from early music, jazz, traditional, and pop, always remaining open to new creative stimuli, in a continuous movement of FUSION. Soqquadro Italiano is a creative group. Every event, show, or concert we produce is distinguished by its adaptability to client needs through careful PERSONALIZATION. Soqquadro Italiano is a theater company. A melting pot of experiences, professionalism, and diverse interests that merge to rediscover the freshness and lightness in the relationship with the audience that live performance in Italy has always produced. A constant search, between past and present, to rediscover the originality and the sense of ordered-disorder that unites us in the word ITALIANO.
