Solid Video Corporation, or SVC, is the appointed distributor and service center of SONY Electronics Asia Pacific Pte. for its broadcast and professional products in the Philippines. SVC handles the marketing, sales, and service of these equipment and accessories for broadcast networks, production and post-production houses, advertising companies, educational, medical, and government institutions, as well as corporate and individual entities with sophisticated audio-visual needs. Through the years, it has successfully undertaken project management, provided turn-key solutions, and done outside broadcast van fabrication and services including integration and commissioning works. Officially, the company was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on October 12, 1984. Effective June 18, 1996, the Company became a wholly owned subsidiary of SOLID GROUP, INC. Starting as a small department handling broadcast equipment sales, video production rentals, and video duplication services, the company has evolved to become the longest-staying, widely reputable, and most stable supplier in the Philippine broadcast industry today. To date, Solid Video Corporation has existing partnerships with over 20 other broadcast-related manufacturers besides Sony. From carrying Sony, the Company now also represents equally established brands in the industry notably Audio-Technica, Fujinon, Clearcom, Vinten, Klotz, Chyron, Litepanels, Leader, Autoscript, Playbox, Nucomm, Comark, and Dielectric. It continues to acquire and secure agreements with new partners to provide more integrated solutions to its clients and become a one-stop enterprise. The company has successfully completed prestigious projects such as the Southeast Asian Games and the ASEAN Summit, along with other works like outside broadcast vans, media centers (with TV and radio studios, recording booths, editing facilities, archiving, and remote broadcast equipment), Masscom TV studios, AM/FM Internet radio and audio recording booths, broadcast and video streaming facilities, LED video walls with live feeds, and upgrades and integration of studio cameras. The Company’s sales and service teams undergo extensive technical and service trainings from its principals both domestically and abroad. The Company participates in exhibits and seminars, and its team regularly attends industry events to keep abreast of technology developments. The Company also provides operational and maintenance trainings, specialized repairs, professional check-ups, and sales of original parts. SVC continues to develop close relationships with affiliated companies, key suppliers, and valued clients.
