Since 1924, Smith Village has served seniors in southwest Chicago and earned a reputation for outstanding care and service. Today, as the area’s only Life Plan Community, our campus offers an exceptional retirement lifestyle that combines freedom and independence with the security of knowing health care is available if needed. Smith Village is a not-for-profit organization. What this means for residents and their families is having the assurance that everything we do and every decision we make is based on one goal: to improve the lives of those we serve. Rather than answering to an anonymous group of investors, we hold ourselves accountable to residents and their family members, to the Beverly community and to each other. We believe it’s a higher standard that has created and sustains a resident-centered culture.
